Week 36

She’s still in the 17.2- to 18.7-inch and 4.2- to 5.8-pound range and continues to beef up.

She’s getting closer and closer to being able to breathe on her own.

Her skin is getting smooth and soft and her gums are rigid.

Her liver and kidneys are in working order.

Circulation and immune systems are basically good to go, too.

From Jessyka:  It’s been a countdown this entire 8 months but this week I feel like it really begins!  Week 36 is the last week with the fear of premature labor.  It’s also my last week in the office, until February!  Boy am I ready, I keep thinking that it’s impossible to get any bigger but then it happens.

This last week was crazy.  We had our Coho Media Tour with the lovely Megan from Wanna Be A Country Cleaver and Kaela from Cookin And Kickin.  We learned about the fishery here and devoured many meals, including the Fungus Festival Feast.  Jonah was MIA, stuck in Anchorage all weekend because of lack of ferry service.  He made the best of it though, stocking up on all the things we can’t easily get in Cordova that we need for the house and all our future guests!

For example, couches!
