Still growing, your baby weighs in at about 2.5 to 3.8 pounds and measures about 15.2 to 16.7 inches.
She’s getting ready for her descent — she’s likely in the head-down position now.
And she’s probably feeling a even more cramped.
From Jessyka: Jonah called it, Harper’s the size of a squash now. We can definitely feel a head and a rump now, even though it’s hard to tell which is which. She has really been enjoying my right-side of her living space, making me look very lop-sided!
Her squash-ness gets me thinking about many birthdays to come for our little October baby. We’re heading to Anchorage this weekend for Mary’s wedding in Girdwood. We’re taking the ferry so keep your fingers crossed for some gorgeous weather and lots of whales spottings. It’ll be a little mini vacation that will include the usual stops at Fred Meyer and Costco.
Jonah has been spending a lot of time out at Ibek Creek fishing for coho while I’ve been knitting away listening to James Herriot’s All Creatures Great and Small. If you haven’t read this book, I highly recommend it. The guy who reads it on the audio book certainly keeps up with the hilarity of the book.
Also, we hope to close on the house this week! Much more updates on that once it FINALLY happens.
